Damian Hurley has stepped into the director’s chair for his debut film, “Strictly Confidential,” directing none other than his own mother, Elizabeth Hurley, in some daring scenes.
The film is set to push boundaries, featuring Elizabeth in intimate moments with another woman.
In an interview, Damian shared that directing his mother felt entirely normal to him, despite the steamy content. He revealed that they didn’t have intimacy coordinators on set, highlighting the routine nature of such situations for those in the industry.
Damian also opened up about his upbringing, mentioning that Elizabeth taught him about sex at a young age, viewing it as a beautiful and natural aspect of life. Their close relationship is described as more akin to siblings than parent and child.
Elizabeth, on the other hand, expressed feeling safe and looked after during filming, with Damian ensuring her comfort on set. She also revealed Damian’s role as the secret photographer behind her bikini Instagram posts, underscoring their collaborative bond.
The film, “Strictly Confidential,” follows Mia, portrayed by CBBC star Georgia Lock, as she delves into the mystery surrounding her friend Rebecca’s suicide in a world of sex, duplicity, and betrayal. The trailer hints at Mia’s return to the Caribbean island where Rebecca died, setting the stage for a gripping narrative.
Scheduled for release on April 5th in cinemas and on Prime Video, “Strictly Confidential” promises to captivate audiences with its daring storytelling and exceptional performances.
